March 2026 Newsletter

With heartfelt gratitude for your prayers and love, as you stand with us in the Lord's heart for Cambodia, we would like to share an update from the HIS Church.

Takhmao Doulos Church

We began 2026 with the theme, "Arise and shine for the glory of God." We are thankful that God has provided a local pastor to serve alongside our missionaries. Together, we are caring for church members personally and growing as one family in Christ.

Although Cambodia is strongly influenced by Buddhism, Hinduism, and folk beliefs, we continue praying that believers here will grow into mature Christians who live for God's glory. Please pray for unity among Pastor Pov, Missionaries Casey and Kim Chunhwa, and all church members.

Kambongtrea Doulos Church

After our church building was torn down due to canal construction, we continue worshiping in a small temporary structure. Despite poor conditions, worship remains heartfelt. Please pray that members will remain steadfast and that God will provide a proper sanctuary.

Evangelists Ponlok and Sopeaup travel weekly to serve, and our ministry team shares the gospel in nearby villages. Pray for their strength, health, and protection as they travel.

In rural villages like Toul Sampi and Ampel Proy, many children lack education and stable family support. We teach and share the gospel in simple settings with limited resources. Please pray for lasting spiritual transformation, not just material help.

We are also thankful for a recent medical mission team from Australia. Pray for continued partnerships and open doors for the gospel.

Gospel School

On Fridays in Prek Ho village and Saturdays in Takhdol, we share the gospel with children through our Kids Club ministry. It hasn't yet grown into a full Sunday worship service, but please pray that through this gospel school, the children will continue to grow strong in God's Word.

The number of children attending is steadily increasing. We would truly appreciate your prayers for the Friday and Saturday Kids Club leaders and volunteersthat they would serve with thankful hearts and God-given wisdom as they carry out this ministry.

Village Outreach

Our team visits the villages of Toul Sampi and Ampel Proy weekly to teach children and share God's Word in simple settings such as courtyards, homes, and open fields.

Life in these rural communities is not easy. Many young adults leave for the city in search of work, and it's common to see grandparents raising their grandchildren. In Toul Sampi village especially, there is no school, and quite a few children are unable to read or write. We teach the children and share the gospel in villagers' yards, in the small homes of church members, and sometimes under the shade of a tree in an open field, often with very limited materials. Though the setting is simple, God's Word is being planted there. Please pray that the ministry workers will not grow weary, and that God will grant them daily wisdom, good health, and joyful passion for the work.

At the end of January, a medical team from Australia came to serve the rural villages. We pray that opportunities like this will continue, and that through partnerships with various short-term mission teams, even more doors will open for the gospel. We also ask for your participation and prayers in this.

The road to the villages has recently been improved, making travel easier. However, with more vehicles on the road, traffic accidents have also increased. Please pray for God's protection over the ministry workers as they travel by motorbike and tuk-tuk to and from their mission fields.

Dear partners who stand with us in prayer, love, and support…

We are deeply grateful for your prayers and support. God is at work in Cambodia, bringing light to those in darkness. Your prayers are planting seeds that are bearing fruit. Thank you for standing with us.
