HIS School Update

1. Cambodia Ministry Newsletter

We praise God for His faithful work in establishing a mission school in Cambodia—a Buddhist nation with deep social inequality—using it as a channel for the gospel.

2. Ministry Journey

  • Beginning: Started with a kindergarten ministry through Doulos Church, including pioneering work in the underserved Prek Ho area.

  • Growth: Officially registered with the Ministry of Education in 2018, operating primary classes in a temporary campus.

  • Expansion: Building a foundation for gospel centered education in areas where the gospel is not easily reached.

3. School Construction & Progress

  • Construction began in late 2016 and has continued through many challenges by God’s grace and your prayers.

  • While not yet fully completed, essential facilities (classrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors, playground, parking, and garden) are now in place.

  • We are preparing to move into the new HIS School building soon and begin formal classes there.

We give thanks to God, who has sustained every step,and trust Him to complete what He has started.

Prayer Requests

1. A Christ-centered Learning Community

Pray that HIS School will be a safe and nurturing environment where children are discipled through God’s Word and prayer, growing into faithful leaders who will impact the world.

2. Relocation to the New Building (Planned for July)

  • Smooth completion of remaining construction work

  • Provision of classroom and office furnishings

  • Financial support to complete electrical and ceiling work on the 3rd floor

3. Approval for Secondary School & Student Enrollment

  • Successful approval of licensing applications

  • Wisdom for the team leading school promotion and parent information sessions

4. Raising Spiritual Leaders and Staff

  • Qualified local Christian teachers for secondary education

  • Missionaries and volunteers (short and long-term) in education, English, and arts/sports

We pray that HIS International School in Prek Ho will become a holy channel through which a new generation of faith will rise to transform Cambodia through the gospel.

Despite many challenges, we rely solely on God and remain committed to this mission with the support of your love and prayers. May the declaration of “Come and see what God has done” be evident in your life as well.
