HIS Child
Relief ministry for children in crisis
Mobile Drop-in Center
As Phnom Penh rapidly develops and expands, many residents of impoverished neighborhoods have lost their homes due to government led urban planning. These individuals were relocated to barren rural lands provided by the government, but have since returned to the city in order to survive—living on the streets, begging, and collecting garbage to make a living. Children born from homeless parents are often left unattended on the streets, and the safety of children in poor areas is in serious jeopardy. The Mobile Drop-in Center ministry meets with these children weekly, creating space where they can play like children instead of begging, encouraging them not to lose hope and to experience the love of the Lord.
Please pray that through God’s perfect love, these cycles of hardship will not be passed down to the next generation.
Pray for the protection of the lives and safety of the street children, and that they may hold onto hope for a better future.
Children Center
Currently, 35 children live as a community, growing and learning how to live together.
They are becoming family to one another and growing in the Word and prayer, striving to live as children of the Light.
Please pray that these children, as they grow, will reflect the goodness and kindness of God the Father to the fatherless and become shining lights in the world.
Also, please pray that the Lord would meet all their needs in His perfect way, and that He would pour out abundant wisdom and love on the staff serving them.
Students who have grown up in the orphanage and moved on to universities or vocational schools are now working during the day and studying at night, striving to become independent members of society.
Although their tuition is supported once a year, they are responsible for all other living costs themselves, which is a great burden. Still, it is also a valuable training ground where they experience the Lord’s provision and learn the responsibility of faith.
Please pray that they will grow into mature children of faith who can confess with their lips that every moment they endure is filled with the Lord’s grace and power.
Pray for the safety of the young people learning technical skills in vocational schools, and that wherever they go, they will never forget their identity as children of God and live as His disciples.
Shining Partnership
The small things I can do are completed by the hands of the Lord. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5: 16)
10 Dollars, for Hope
We invite you to partner with us in supporting street children by contributing just $10 (per child/month). One person may not be able to do it all, but together, we can build hope and share Christ’s love.
30 Dollars for 3 Meals
Three meals a day are essential for the children growing up at HIS Child. With a monthly gift of $30, you can provide daily meals and basic necessities. Join us in becoming a spiritual parent who serves as salt and light.
Shining 700 Dollars-Education support
The annual tuition cost for one Daniel/Esther student is $700. Through scholarship support, you can help them pursue their dreams and live as faithful disciples in society. Your encouragement and generosity can make a lasting impact
