September 2026 Newsletter
A Land Where Fear Lingers…
During Cambodia’s rainy season, people can be seen wearing large masks and marching through the streets to drive away evil spirits believed to cause disease.
Even today, many Cambodians live with a deep-rooted fear of spiritual forces.
Through education and the Gospel, we hope they will experience healing and freedom and turn to the Lord. With this vision, we renovated a former orphanage and began the school ministry in 2018.
A School Where Grace Grows
The school construction, which began in 2016, is nearing completion by God’s grace. We hope to begin the new school year in the new building at the end of September.
Please pray for the remaining financial needs, wisdom in the final preparations, and for every class to be filled with 24 students.
We also pray that each class—from kindergarten for ages three, four, and five, through Grades 1–6 in elementary school and Grades 7–8 in middle school—will be filled to its full capacity of 24 students, and that the entire campus will overflow with the joyful laughter and vibrant energy of children.
A School of Grace in a Land of Suffering
We praise God for His grace at work through HIS International School and pray that the school will positively impact the local community, raising future leaders equipped with both faith and excellence.
We pray that HIS International School will be a positive influence in the community, raising future leaders of faith and excellence who will help build a stronger Cambodia by God’s grace.
From a Generation of Fear to a Generation of Faith!
Partial relocation to the new building has already begun. Please pray for strength, wisdom, and joy for the missionaries and teachers as they complete the move and prepare for the new school year.
